Seminar on Human Rights Day 2010
On Cases Against Bhai Daljeet Singh Bittu (Advocate Rajwinder Singh Bains).
A seminar was organized by Shiromani Akali Dal (Panch Pardhani) on 10 December, 2010 (Human Rights Day) at Ludhiana on topic: Human Rights and Democracy in Punjab.
During this seminar Advocate Rajwinder Singh Bains shared the facts of cases against Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu, Chairman of SAD (Panch Pardhani) and informed the audience that why Bhai Daljeet Singh is not granted bail even if there is nothing substantial in cases.
Cases against Bhai Daljeet Singh Bittu is a clear instance of misuse of process of law for political purposes. It also exposes the myth of "independence" of judiciary in India.
