January 01, 2008 (Patiala)
The Sikh Students Federation has issued it’s concern over increasing incidents of violence committed by schools children. Press release issued by Sikh Students Federation says that it is on out come of faulty education system. Sikh Students Federation President S. Paramjit Singh Gazi said that it is strange that neither the society, nor, Government or education department is taking the matter to the extents of its gravity.
‘60 years have elapsed since elimination of foreign rule in country, yet education is not accessible to all. Moreover, there is large gap between standards of education provided to poor and the rich. These are some major faults of present system, Gazi said ‘This system is even unable to bring basic moral values in students’, he added.
Sikh Students Federation urges the society to think seriously on the matter before it is too late.
