Punjab bandh call fails to evoke any response

PATIALA: The bandh call given by Shiv sena (Hindustan), against the installation of the portrait of Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale in the museum of the Golden Temple, has failed to evoke any response here in Friday.
In wake of band call given by Shiv Sena (H) The SAD (Mann) has announced to observe Fateh Diwas on the day. The SAD (International) has given call to all Punjabis to light lamps on their houses tonight.
Government as well private schools and colleges have opened and function in government and PSEB offices have started normally.
The milk supply as well as supply of fruit and vegetables was normal in the morning. All state owned buses and fleet of Private Buses plied as usual.
